We thought the
cottage was lovely. It was beautiful, gorgeous and extremely immaculate.
I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi which was great. This cottage
have everything you could possibly need from electric can
openers to big screen t.v.'s with surround sound. Imagine that
and more, I would love to come back and enjoy it again, I had a

Wow is the only way
we can express our feelings towards the resort. A peaceful
family getaway in a secluded cottage country
setting and only 1 hour from the bustle of the city life.
The proximity to the beautiful golf course at Grand Pines
was a bonus as well as minutes from Lester Beach for Zack if the
weather cooperates. Also, there were shops and restaurants
within a 5-10 minute drive in case we required items that were
forgotten or felt like venturing out for a good meal at Traverse
Bat Corner (Idle Thyme). Finally, specific to the
cottages, you did your homework to what is needed for a
comfortable holiday. The kitchen is stocked with even the
smaller items that we would not bring from the city. The
master bedroom is extremely comfortable with the addition of the
Jacuzzi tub and a perfect way to end the day with a
beverage. Our son loved the play structure as well as the
opportunity to roast marshmallows over the fire...and only 10
steps from the cabin. Definitely, the Bear Country Resort
will gain instant attention as people view the detailed web page
along with word of mouth and other forms of advertising.
Relative to other resorts in the province, the rates for weekend
and full week visits is extremely affordable!

We went for a family
getaway on a cool and wet weekend - and had a great time.
We headed down to the shore and took the kids frog hunting on
the rocks (the kids ended up falling in the lake anyway).
Played in the park at the cottages - the kids especially liked
the zip line (ok, I did too). And later we enjoyed a quiet
evening with the family - chatting, relaxing in the hot tub (the
kids really liked the hot tub) and watching movies.
It ended up being an exceptional two days - relaxing at the
cottage and enjoying nature walks. Thanks for the weekend!

was very cozy & clean & equipped with everything we
would need and more. The kids had a great time on the

1st impression,
really cozy, warm comfortable and well put together cabin.
The little kitchen works great. Has everything you
need. The jucuzzi is the ultimate blessing. The 2nd
day we spent relaxing, watching movies, then we went to
Valentines dinner at Idle Thyme. The food was
awesome. Everyone that comes here should try it. The
Romance package met our expectations and then some. We did
get to see the deer twice. The third day, we have to
go...it is not goodbye we will see you later. Hope to be
back real soon. Thank you for everything!

This cottage has a
very interesting a peaceful surroundings of beautiful
trees. Plenty of room for our snowmobiles. Cottage
was great to stay in - We plan on coming back again and will definitely
refer this cottage to others. Thank you!

Everything inside
and out is just wonderful. Very quiet. To look out
the front window you'd think you were the only ones here.
All the people in the stores around here are so friendly.
Lots of snow, trails to ride. Love the hot tub and
fireplace. Seen lots of deer. Cabin has everything,
next time we will pack lighter. You've done a very nice
job, seems that you thought od it all. Thank you very
much, see you again. We'll put the word out!

Hot tub was nice after a ride. Candy on the pillows was a
